With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nell Embry of Cannelton, Indiana, born in Hanson, Kentucky, who passed away on December 4, 2021 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nell Embry to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Sisk and Ida Sisk (Shadrick); and her husband Paul "Pete" Embry. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Matthews (late Phillip) of Hardinsburg, KY, Paul Embry (Rita) and Karen Sue Poehlein (John Lee); her grandchildren, Phillip Matthews (Andrea), Mike Matthews (Jackie Daugherty), Jason Embry, Matt Embry and Katherine Brennan (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Luke, Cole Matthews, Madelyn DeWitt (Lucian), Tyler, Jacob Matthews, Korie, Kyleigh, Elaina Embry and Brian Brennan.
