He is survived by: his parent Antoinette Burst (Hagedorn); his wife Doris Yvonne Burst; and his children, Charles "Bud" Burst (Sandy), Jim Burst, Cannelton Burst, Mike Burst, Rosie Powers (Mitch), Hawesville Harlen and Carla Harlen. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
