He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Reed and Evelyn Reed (Carter); his wife Patricia "Pat" Reed (Amos); and his siblings, Joyce Reed, Dorothy Champion, Albert and Lee Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Vaal (Michael), Mendy Lassaline (Erik) and Dave Reed (Emily); his sister Mary Covetts; his grandchildren, Haley Kaufman (Scott), Seth Ward, David Reed, Mackenzie Reed, Makayla Reed, Steven VanWinkle (Kellie) and Jason VanWinkle (Yoshimi); and his great grandchild Kensley Kaufman.
