It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris Lawalin of Cannelton, Indiana, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Ahl and Gude; and her brothers, Steve and Kevin Ahl. She is survived by: her husband Kenny Lawalin; her daughters, Mandy Howe (Brad) and Annie Scamahorn (Jason); her stepsons, Brian Lawalin (Marion) and Nathan Lawalin (Jamie); her siblings, Cheryl Morton (Larry), Richard Ahl (Joyce), Brian Grimes (Mike) and Phillip Ahl (Tonya Hunt); her sister-in-law Terri Ahl; her grandchildren, Caleb, Braelyn Howe, Wes, Garrett Scamahorn, Taylor Fischer (Ross), Cody Lawalin (Sarah), Haylee Lawalin (Chase James), Emalee Lawalin, Terissa Cravens (Caleb) and Makenzy Roark; and her great grandchild Ivy Jean Lawalin.
