It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Stepanek of Cannelburg, Indiana, born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Stepanek and Edna Stepanek (Allbee); and his daughter Rebecca Stepanek. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Davidson (Steven) of Loogootee and Rachelle Johnson (Jarrod) of Loogootee; his grandchildren, Jasmine Spore (Richard), Jacy Fields, Christian Stepanek, Michael Woods, Jade Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Joshua Johnson and Verity Johnson; his great grandchildren, Mickeal Cox, Kaiteilynne Cox, Rivvick Hager, Liam Spore, Randall Spore, AlecZander Spore, Skylar Spore and Addison Hernandez; his siblings, Janice DeBlois of Morris, Gary Stepanek (Bonnie) of Esterville, Keith Stepanek (Lori) of Rock Hill and Linda Swanson of Rapid City; his granddaughters, Emerson Jones, Gage Lechner (Nicole Arvin) and Grayson Lechner; and his daughter Shirley Coker.
