She was predeceased by: her husband Commander Don Gaither; her parents, Paul Fuhrman and Laura Fuhrman (Huebner); her siblings, Carl Fuhrman (Wilma), Clarence Fuhrman and Pauline Walton (Alpha); and her brother-in-law Bobby Buchta.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Gaither Hansen of Indianapolis, Ann Gaither Hamilton (Ron) of Bloomfield and Paul Gaither (Kathy) of Cannelburg; her grandchildren, Kristi Hoffman, Beth Goss, Cheryl Gibbs and Travis Gaither; and her sister-in-law Beulah Fuhrman of Loogootee. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Washington.
