He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas Fritter and Mildred E. Fritter Gourley (Watson); and his stepfather Emmett D. "Kilowatt" Gourley. He is survived by: his granddaughter Mary; his wife Glenda Roberta Fritter (Ralston); and his children, Lewis Fritter (Lindsay Stultz) of Switzerland County, IN and Mary McCarty (Eric) of Salt Lick, KY..
