Gary L. Marlin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary L. Marlin of Canaan, Indiana, born in Beech Grove, Indiana, who passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Ann Blankenship Marlin and Donald Elmo Marlin; his grandson Nash Joseph Paxson; and his grandparents, R. H., Roxie Baugh Marlin, Roy and Mayme Steward Blankenship.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Thompson; his children, Michael L. Marlin (Laura) of Bargersville, Indiana, Nicole Delp (Cory) of Greenwood, Indiana and Katie Paxson (JB) of Bargersville, Indiana; his stepchildren, Terry Botts (Audrey) of Florida, Paul Botts (Linda) of Pennsylvania and Penny Meier (Dave) of Bicknell, Indiana; his grandchildren, Connor of Jenna, MJ, Luke, Madison, Brody, Parker and Olivia; and his siblings, Michael W. Marlin (Jackie) of Greenwood, Indiana and Donna Donnell (Steve) of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers in honor of his grandson, Brody Marlin, to Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance.
