It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Rogers (Canaan, Indiana), who passed away on August 16, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest E. Rogers and Lena E. Green Rogers; his wife Neida J. Gardner Rogers; and his brother Randall L. Rogers. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl King (David) of Madison, Pamela Rogers-Hehr (Randy) of Largo, Rebecca Smitha of Madison, Stephanie Spicer (Doug) of Crothersville, Indiana and Charles "Chuck" Rogers (Marie) of Canaan, Indiana; his grandchildren, Melissa Newcomb (Tom), Jeremy Miller, Joshua Miller, Lane Rogers, Ben Rogers (Brian Thompson), Toby Rogers, Tim Rogers-Hehr, Christina Rogers-Hehr, Miranda Adams (Bob), Tyler Smitha, Kelsey Smitha, Casey Stanford (Jessica Garvey), Christopher Hurt (Patricia) and Michele Woods (Jeff); his great grandchildren, David Patrick, Erin, Joe, Bronwyn, Max, Quinn, Adelaide, Malena Jean and Uriah David; and his brother Lynn C. Rogers (Darlene) of Dayton, Ohio. He is also survived by several cousins and other relatives.
