She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Zehr and Bertha Hollen Zehr; her husband Charles Nolan Sturgeon; her sisters, Elsie Dunivan, Delores Sturgeon and Phyllis Craig; and her grandson Josh Trueblood.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Shoults (Eddie) of Campbellsburg and Donna Trueblood (Scott) of Seymour; and her brother Doyle Zehr of Georgetown. She is also survived by four grandchildren, and eight great- grandchildren.
