He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bernard Knock and Dora Bauer Knock; his half-brothers, Marvin Knock and Ralph Bauer; and his sister Dorothea Knock Drischel.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobby" Gabbard; his children, Bettyjane Mori (Ken) of Charlottesville, VA, Thomas John Knock (George) of Dallas, TX, Joseph Albert Knock Sr. (Melissa) of Liberty, IN, Tammy Kay Knock-Shuller (Josh) of Harrison, OH, Brian Henry of Liberty, IN and George Henry (Courtney) of Salem, IN.; his grandchildren, Olivia Mori, Adele Mori-Simon, Joseph Albert Knock Jr., John Albert Knock, Sophia Nell Knock, Jack Thomas Knock, Tanner Alexander, Anniston Henry, Gavin Henry, Coleson Henry, Elizabeth Henry and Cooper Henry; and his great grandchildren, Orson, Nina and Asher.
