She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Kemp and Hallie Chastain Kemp; her son Joey Sama; and her siblings, Donald Kemp, Kenneth Kemp, Bobby Kemp, David Kemp, Cecil Wayne Kemp, James Kemp, Kathleen Goen, Rose Rosenbaum, Carolyn McCoy and Mary Kemp.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Sama of Campbellsburg; her children, Danny Sama (Lisa) of Washington, Kevin Sama (Stacy) of Washington, Desi Alexander of Campbellsburg and Theresa Sama; and her sister Sarah Bachman of Campbellsburg. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
