He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hattabaugh and Lillie Hattabaugh (Applegate); his wife Hope Vivian Hattabaugh (Medaris); his sons, Mark Jerome, James Frederick and John Stephen Hattabaugh; and his siblings, Mary Johnson, Coleen Bower and Clayton Hattabaugh.
He is survived by: his son Hugh Hattabaugh (Kay) of Apopka, Florida; his sisters, Katlhleen Sarver of Salem and Linda McClellan of Salem; his grandchildren, Holly Shever of Florida, Heidi Cardenas of Florida and John J. Hattabaugh of Mitchell; and his cousin Pam Hobson (Applegate) of Salem.
