She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest Stison and Dorothy Harshfield Wells; her husband Bob Kress; and her grandparents, Earl and Mary Harshfield.

She is survived by: her sons, Chuck Childers (Michelle) of Campbellsburg and Ed Childers of Campbellsburg; her grandchildren, Melissa Brock (Seth), Tausha Terrell (Dustin Hall), Jacob Terrell (Allison) and Hunter Childers; her great grandchildren, Bentley and Bolten Morrow; and her aunt Myra Hayes.
