He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Knox and Bessie Alverda Toney Bennington; his son-in-law Rick Reef; and his grandson Jordan Britton. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Pitrowski (Gene) of Peru, IN, Carol Reef of Camden, Lisa Kissinger of Kokomo and Randy Bennington of Deer Creek; and his siblings, Howard Wayne Bennington (Jean) of Lebanon, Norman Bennington of Jasonville, IN, Janet Gilman (Stan) of Burlington, Mary Sloan (Larry) of Lebanon and Connie Bennington of Lebanon. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
