He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Payne and Kay Payne (Leadman); his wife Lea Jeffery; his stepchildren, Lourissa Martinez, Lisa Chafin, Tony Lear, Amanda Allee and Judy Wildermuth; and his siblings, Julie Payne, Jodie Carter and John Roark. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
