It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Edith Herr (Camden, Indiana), who passed away on October 4, 2018, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oral Johnson and Anna Johnson (Irwin); her spouse Robert Herr; her daughter-in-law Karen "Kay" Herr; her siblings, Lawrence Johnson (Mary), La Von Johnson and Belva Carter (Bill); her niece Evelyn Carter; and her nephew Kenneth Carter (Nancy).
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Mary Ellen; her sons, Emmett Herr, Greentown Herr, Harold Herr (Kathie Yerkes) and Deer Creek; and her grandchildren, Steven Herr (Deanna), Jim Herr (Kate), Kevin Herr (Tracy), Neal Herr (Ashley) and Melissa Hendrix (Doug).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ellen's memory to the Faith Lutheran Church or to the Deer Creek Community Center.
