He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Edging and Hilda Snell Edging; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his spouse Shirlie Hankins; his children, Thomas Dale Edging (Tanya) of Savanna, GA, Douglas L. Edging (Kimberly) of Lafayette, IN, Lynn Ellen Jones (Bruce) of West Lafayette, IN and Dean E. Edging of Lafayette, IN; and his brothers, Dallas Jr. Edging of Burleson, TX and Samuel Edging (Carolyn Griggs) of Plymouth, IN. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
