He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sr. Smith and Helen Smith (Helton); and his brother Bradley Smith. He is survived by: his former wife Judith Ann Smith (Goad); his wife Judy Smith of Camby; his children, Jennifer Montgomery (Tom) of Camby, Kirk W. Smith (Sheila) of Noblesville and Michael W. Smith (Melissa) of Paragon; his grandchildren, Bethany McGuire of Indianapolis, Maranda Conn of Indianapolis, Hunter Smith of Noblesville, Mariah Walter (Garrett) of Noblesville, Nathan Montgomery of Plainfield and Garrett Smith of Noblesville; and his great grandchildren, Annlee and Easton Conn of Indianapolis.
