He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dyer Sr. and Frances Powell (Lowry); his former wife Kerry Sue Dyer (Robinson); his brother Randy Dyer; and his close friend John Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Swope Dyer; his daughters, Melissa Fish (Darren) and Valerie Kinman (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Olivia Fish, Maggie Kinman and Thomas Kinman; his stepchildren, Chris Hillman (Billie) and Andy Painter (Stacy); and his stepgrandchildren, Topher Hillman, Hannah Hillman, Gabby Painter, Carleigh Young and Austin Motes.
