She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walter and Anna Mary Brooks (Edwards); her husband George Kapassakis; and her siblings, Hilda Russell, Robert Brooks, Norman Brooks and William Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Boyer (John), Bill Edwards (Karen), Beth Luoma (Steve), Tina Edwards and Rachel Fischer (Josh); her siblings, Carolyn Lizza, Merida Brooks and Rodonna Nail; and her cousins, Linda Ford (Ethel) and Sherman (Shermanator). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and expecting one more great grandchild in September; and many nieces and nephews.
