He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrea Kapassakis and Sophia Kapassakis (Apostolakis); and his siblings, Spiro Kapassakis, Stanley Kapassakis, Katina Spetsieris, Paul Kapassakis and Stella Kapassakis.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca A. Kapassakis (Brooks); his children, Brenda Boyer (John), Bill Edwards (Karen), Beth Luoma (Steve), Tina Edwards and Rachel Fischer (Josh); his siblings, Gus Kapassakis, Peter Kapassakis, Helen Louris and Argie Maragoudakis; and his grandson Demetrius. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
