He was predeceased by: his parents, Hasco Ward and Hazel Ward; his uncle Edward Grubb; and his sister Bonnie Terhune. He is survived by: his sons, Shawn Ward (Stacie) and Matthew Ward (Rachel); his grandchildren, Austin, Nicholas, Maggie and Charlie Ward; his great grandchild Roman Ward; and his siblings, James Ward (Donna), Gary Ward (Nikki), Paul Ward (Shirley) and Paula Ward.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
