She was predeceased by: her parents, Dethell Toney and Lenia Mae Toney (Charles Adams Sr); and her children, Laquita Adams-Bello and Aaron Adams. She is survived by: her children, Sonya Exford (Daniel Exford), Charles Adams Jr., Katherine Adams, Lenia Adams (Alvin Gibson), Mckenzie Adams (Alicyn Hicks) and Sarah Page (Nathan Page); her grandchildren, Malcolm Exford, Tellei Exford, Charles Adams 3rd, Antonio Hopkins, Trinity Hopkins, Elijah Adams, Chauncey Humphries, Maryanna Adams, Erin Adams, Audria Adams, Dartece Adams, Savion Thomas, Anastasia Adams, Ariel Adams, Kel, Mtandwa and Aries Gibson; her sister Yvonne Washington; and her nephew Terry Barlow. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
