With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Burtis Franklin Hamrick Jr. of Camby, Indiana, who passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burtis Franklin and Willie Dale Hamrick Sr. (Dinkins); his wife Lynne Ellen Hamrick (Wilson); and his brother Bill Fellows. He is survived by: his children, Diana Thompson (John) of Nineveh and Brett Hamrick (Natalie) of Robbinsville; and his grandchildren, Alex Thompson of Indianapolis, Michael Thompson (Rebecca) of Twentynine Palms, Jordan Hamrick of Independence and Noah Hamrick of Overland, Kansas..

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service (4165 E Allison Rd, Camby, IN 46158). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
