He was predeceased by: his stepfather Albert L. Wills. He is survived by: his parents, Myra Wills (Mattix) of Knightstown and Harvey Peggs (Susan) of Rushville; his son Drake Peggs (Maggie McCullough); his former wife Melissa Peggs of Knightstown; his stepchildren, Devin Silver of Indianapolis, Dillon Silver (Abby) of Knightstown and Amanda Elkins (Jayden) of Bedford; his siblings, Sonya Fontaine (Stewart) of Breckenridge, CO, Dr. Cara Peggs (Troy Payner) of Indianapolis, Bryan Peggs (Jolinda) of Knightstown and Julia Reydell (Michael) of Cambridge City; his stepsiblings, Scott Seibel (Teena) of New Castle and Sherry Woolston (Chris) of Rushville; his grandchildren, Jaxon, Mason Elkins, Rhett Silver and Lainey Silver; and his close friend Angela Foster of Hagerstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service (7355 IN-109, Knightstown, IN 46148). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Knightstown Little League/ Youth Optimist.
