He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dunaway and Netta Dunaway (Centers); his granddaughters, Jessica Burkhardt and Ashley Nicole Dunaway; his great grandchild Bradley Jake Scott Dunaway; and his brother Kenneth Dunaway.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Dunaway Jr. (Sandy Clark), Melissa Triplitt (Eric) and Duane Dunaway (Whitney); and his siblings, Jesse Dunaway (Terry), Sue Dunaway, Edward Dunaway, Donald Dunaway (Larnell), Rachel Funkhouser (Lee), Gary Dunaway and Anna Whittington (Randy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home (1993 Cumberland St, Cambridge City, IN 47335). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
