She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Witt and Mattie Begley Witt; her husband Herbert Newton; her son Gary Newton; and her siblings, Geneivieve Mooreland (Sam) and Jack Witt.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Newton (Karen) and James Newton (Lori Osborn); her grandchildren, Rachel Williams (Bryan), Kimberly Roberts (Tom), Crystal Allen (Jonathan), Brianna Wetzel (Dugan), James Newton (Jessica), Justin Newton, Julia Newton (Eric Bottoms) and Sara Eicher-Newton (Jen); and her brother Bill Witt (Dorothy). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
