She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Orlando and Mae Louise Pickett (Hughes); her grandson Broc Robert-Alan Jacobs; and her siblings, Walter "Bud", Paul, Robert "Bobby", Richard Pickett, Pauline Cochran, Carol Hogan and Jackie Pickett.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Sands; her daughters, Karan McCoy (Sean) and Kim Stewart (Tony); her grandchildren, Michael McCord (Melissa), Kyle McCord (Logan), Kyle McCoy (Brandi) of Kinzie Stewart, AJ and Kassidy Stewart (Evan); and her siblings, Mabel Longnecker and Marion Pickett (Gloria). She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
