He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Mattingly; his daughters, Amanda Vogel (Thomas), Tracy Dilk, Sandy Maschino (Tim) of Butlerville and Stacy Turner Alaniz (Nicole Rodgers) of Wichita Falls; his sisters, Pamela Ann and Peggy Sue Mattingly; his grandchildren, Derek Gerth (Ashley) of Seymour, Amber Alaniz (Elizabeth), Clayton Royalty of Butlerville, Tony "Herb" Dilk of North Vernon, Kimberly Dilk of North Vernon, Daniel Thomas Vogel (Shelby Luhn) of North Vernon, Sara Louise "Weezer" Vogel (Jason Judd) of North Vernon, Liz Maschino of North Vernon and Dan Maschino of North Vernon; and his great grandchildren, Cruz Alaniz of Wichita Falls, Ava Gerth of Seymour, Bella Campbell of Seymour, Aubreigh Gerth of Seymour and Kylie Gerth of Seymour.
