He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nelson and Mary Nelson (Swader); his siblings, Walter Nelson Jr., Donald Nelson, Kenneth Nelson, Marianna Miller, Patricia Howe and Ruth Ann Maag; and his siblings-in-law, Delmar Bradley, Wes Bradley Jr., Carol Bradley, Pamela Bradley, Nellie Ammis, Sidney Clusman, Linda Bradley and Virginia Bradley.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Nelson (Bradley) of Butlerville; his sons, Norman Michael Nelson of Bloomington and Shawn Nelson of Butlerville; his granddaughter Heather Kathleen Nelson of North Vernon; his sister Barbara Young of Aurora, Colorado; and his siblings-in-law, George Maag Sr. of Greeley, Elmer Bradley (Sherry) of Dillsboro, Omar Bradley (Patsy) of Holton, Ernie Bradley (Sue) of Versailles, Mike Bradley of Versailles, Frances Powell of Versailles and Debra Clowers of Canaan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in honor of Norman may be made through the funeral home to Holton Christian Church.
