She was predeceased by: her parents, William B. Philpot and Zylphia Philpot (Tipton); her close friend Dion Stotler; and her siblings, H. B. Philpot, George Philpot, Jimmie Philpot, Amy Mills and Carol Sue Pendleton.
She is survived by: her sons, Sammie Whicker (Karon) of North Vernon and Marcus Whicker (Melissa) of North Vernon; her siblings, Chuck Philpot (Pat) of Manchester, Kentucky and Opal Cornett of Manchester, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Heather Rayburn (Mike) of North Vernon, Logan Whicker (Ashley) of North Vernon, Jarod Whicker of North Vernon and Samantha Whicker of North Vernon; and her great grandchildren, Grayson Regan of North Vernon, Delaney Rayburn of North Vernon, Macy Kirk of North Vernon and Lillian Whicker of North Vernon.
Memorials may be made in honor of Joyce through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
