With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Louis Rafferty of Butlerville, Indiana, born in Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on October 18, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurna Rafferty and Eva Rafferty (Cline); his stepson Charles Smith; and his siblings, Morris, Merril, Mark, Marvin, Clifford "Tiny" Wayne Rafferty, Mary Margaret Riddle and Neatha Jean Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Runyon; his stepchildren, David Lee Smith (Devonna) of Glasgow, Kentucky, Elizabeth Carol DeBord (Brian) of Freetown and Mary Ellen Hounshell of Glasgow, Kentucky; and his sister Alice Brumfield of Texas.
Memorials may be made in honor of George through the funeral home to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
