He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ward of Butlerville; his children, James Patrick Ward (Melissa) of North Vernon, Joe Ward (April) of North Vernon, Jamie Law (Beth) of Hope, Stephanie Baker (Daniel) of Columbus and Tara Leonard of Columbus; his siblings, Mike Ward (Cheryl) of Zenas, Anthony "Tony" Ward (Janet) and Diana Darby of North Vernon; his grandchildren, Austin Elkins (Erin), Dylan Elkins (Ariana), Ryan Leonard, Jason, DeeAnna, Cierra, Josette Ward, Zachary, Paige Baker, William, Nicholas, Emily and Sara Law; his great grandchildren, Piper and Palmer Elkins; and his former wife Cindy Ward of North Vernon.
