He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Kuntz and Virginia Kuntz (Gessler); and his sister Martha Walters. He is survived by: his wife Rita Smith; his children, Scott Kuntz (Shannon) of Greensburg, Christy Hawthorne (Jason) of Acworth, Georgia, Amanda Thorne of North Vernon, Samantha Kuntz of North Vernon and Deanna Simmons (Danny) of Seymour; his pets, Daisy and Max; and his niece Amy Bolton of North Vernon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Benny to donor's choice of organization.
