Barbara Manthei Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2023, at the age of 90, Barbara Manthei of Butlerville, Indiana, born in North Vernon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Harold and Dencil Henry (Waltermire); and her husband Jerald Manthei. She is survived by: her children, Jerald Lee Manthei Jr. of Butlerville, Richard Lynn Mathei of North Vernon, Steven Carl Manthei (Kathy) of Austin, Charles Eugene Manthei (Sue) of Indianapolis, Harold David Manthei of Phoenix, Arizona, Barbara JoAnn Cooper (Darryl) of New Palestine and Christina Louise Manthei of Greensburg; and her brother Richard Lee Henry (Shannon) of Commiskey. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Memorials in honor of Barbara may be made through the funeral home to The American Kidney Foundation or The American Diabetes Association.
