He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Timmerman and Marjorie Timmerman (Furnish); his sons, Rick Timmerman and Charles Timmerman; and his siblings, David Timmerman, DuWayne Timmerman, Louis "Shorty" Timmerman, Keith Timmerman, Howard "Pete" Timmerman, Mozella Edgar, Anita Fry, Patricia Melchi, Shirley Zimmerman, Darlene Zimmerman, Norma Dickson and Sharon Snyder.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta E. Hankey; his daughter Teresa; his son-in-law John Ross of Butler; his son Von; his daughter-in-law Teri Timmerman of Auburn; his grandchildren, Rebecca Henderson, Rachael Ponds, John D. Ross II, Stacy Hudson and Melissa Salway; his stepgrandchildren, Kloudi Minnick and Skyler Bishop; his great grandchildren, Danial, Sydney, Breah, Aidan, Brantly, Coy, Reid, Ayden, Amelia and Abraham; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Christopher, Clayton, Karson, Addison, Elodie and Emry; and his sisters, Eloise Fry of Butler and Loree "Peg" Baker of Bremerton, Washington..
