He was predeceased by : his parents, Fordyce Herrick and Mildred Herrick (Easterday); his grandson Adam Herrick; and his siblings, Patricia Hart Gumbert, Donald Lee Herrick and Robert Brickel.

He is survived by : his wife Gay Anne Herrick of Butler; his son Steven Lee; his daughter-in-law Teresa Herrick of Auburn; his daughter Lisa G.; his son-in-law Jeffery Myers of Auburn; his daughter Sheila Jean; and his son-in-law Darrel Reinhart of Auburn.
