He was predeceased by: his parents, James A McBride and Vera I McBride (Keller); his former wife Nancy J. McBride (Dull); and his siblings, Eugene McBride, James McBride and Patricia Kneip.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine E McBride (Nelson); his children, Kelly Walters (Rick) of Butler, Shelly J McBride of Butler and Richard L McBride, Jr. of New Carlisle; and his stepchildren, Mark D Johnson of Fort Wayne, Gary E Johnson (Kelly) of Flagstaff and Linda L Williams (Allan) of Lebanon. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
