She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Meeks and Ruth Meeks (Johnson); her husband John Powers; her sisters, Marilyn Meeks and Shirley Meeks; and her half-brother Ralph Meeks.
She is survived by: her son Roger Powers of Auburn; her granddaughter Chelsea Griffin (Quentin) of Garrett; her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Wade Griffin; her brother John Meeks (Sandy) of Charlotte; her nephew Cliff Meeks; and her nieces, Jill Meeks Parker and Jewell Openlander (Eric).
