He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hulbert and Cleo Hulbert (Scott); and his grandson Tyson Eugene Stafford. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Kay Hulbert of Butler; his daughters, Tina Compton (Charles) of Butler and Antoinette "Toni" Scranton (Mike) of Hicksville; his granddaughters, Melody Helmke (Gabe) of Butler, Starr Compton (Collin Langford) of Fort Wayne, Tristan Scranton (Nikki) of Hicksville and Piper Stafford of Hicksville; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Emerson, Aiden, Ember and Aspen; and his brothers, Lloyd Hulbert (Vivian) of Pleasant Lake, Ronald Hulbert (Charmaine) of Butler and Rick Rickerd (Rodell) of Fremont. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Preferred memorials are to Veteran Endowment Fund Community Foundation of Dekalb County.
