It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Martin of Butler, Indiana, born in Angola, Indiana, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carol had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Carol may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert George Waltmire and Inez Faye Waltmire (Perry); and her brother Allen Waltmire. She is survived by: her children, Brigette (Jason Terry), Robert (Lashanda Martin), Vickie (James Jenkins), Christina Renshaw of Garrett, James Martin of Waterloo, Steve Martin (Amber Edmond), Douglas (Jackie Martin), Joseph (Brittany Martin) and Debra Martin of Madison.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hite Funeral Home (403 S Main St, Kendallville, IN 46755). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
