He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney and Lucille. He is survived by: his wife Jean Shumway; his children, Anita Carver (Harris), Angela Godby (Darren), Kendra Shumway (Michael) and James Shumway; his siblings, Carol Conkel and Ben Shumway (Rita); and his mother-in-law Dorothy Drake. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
