Dorothy Drake Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Drake of Burns Harbor, Indiana, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Calvin Edward Drake; her daughter Lois Olive; and her sons-in-law, Kenneth Shumway and Ben Fauver. She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Shumway and Freida Fauver; her grandchildren, Belinda Terry (Darrell), Anita Carver (Harris), Angela Godby (Darren), Shirley Bootz (Jeff), Elizabeth Liberto (Louie), Kendra Shumway (Michael), Barbara Fauverzeman (Alan), Pamela Prumak (Patrick), Robert Olive III (Jessica), Sarah Olive Vaughn and James Shumway; her sister-in-law Josephine Fleming; and her son-in-law Robert Olive. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer.
