Shaffer and Gladys Shaffer Resided (Binney); his children, Robert "Rob" Shaffer of Burnettsville, Diana Butt of Culver, Janine Gutwein (David) of Monticello, Brooke Whaley (John) of Brook, Brandon Shaffer (Laura) of Burnettsville, Indiana and Thirteen; his grandchildren, Ryan Loehmer (Julie) of Wabash, Justin Loehmer (Miranda) of Monterey, Jenna Loehmer of Culver, Sarah Loehmer of Culver, Morgan Hoffman (Nicholas) of Westfield, Connor Gutwein of Monticello, Maggie Gutwein of Monticello, Brock Whaley of Brook, Blake Whaley of Brook, Ledger Shaffer of Burnettsville, Roth Shaffer of Burnettsville, Ajanae Corn of Kokomo and Amaryia Corn of Kokomo, Indiana; and his sisters, Ruth Ann Mehall of Grand Haven, Carol Barr (Paul) of Kokomo and Jane Shaffer of Logansport, Indiana. He was also cherished by Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins.
Memorials may be given to the White County, Indiana, 4-H Fair Beef Barn.
