He was predeceased by: his father Chester Broughton. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sparks; his children, Eugene C. Broughton of Burnettsville and Denese M. Young (Scott) of Burnettsville Indiana; his former wife Dorothy Broughton of Burnettsville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Rachel Lachmund (Kyle) of Reynolds and Riley Young (Brittany) of Monticello, Indiana; his great grandchildren, Kohen Lachmund, Kooper Lachmund and Kyla Lachmund; his stepgrandsons, Stephen Turbé and Nathan Young; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Christian Malott and Robert Malott; and his siblings, Jo A. Clevenger of Peru, Darrell D. and Mary K. Caudle of Burnettsville, Indiana. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins.
Memorials may be given to the Burnettsville Volunteer Fire Department or to the Burnettsville Town Board, both of Burnettsville, Indiana.
