He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Beattie and Vivian Beattie (Zeek); his wife Deborah Enyart; his children, Wende Sheets (Ralph) and Tommie Beattie (Lori); his stepchildren, Shannon Lowry (Bryan) and John O'Connor; his grandchildren, Shelbee Sheridan (Nick), Tayler Hutchins, Bailee Beattie and Karsynn Beattie; his great grandchildren, Aydenn, Alex, Zaiden, Zoiee and Delyla; and his sister Darlene Martin. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; his K9 companion.
