With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Della Smith of Burlington, Indiana, born in Russiaville, Indiana, who passed away on August 25, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Burns and Emma Frances Burns (Hodson); her husband Harold G. Smith; and her son Jerry Smith. She is survived by: her children, Jane Ann Stevens (Marlin), Don Smith (Christina), Carolyn Weaver and Larry Smith (Dawn); her grandchildren, Marlin "Andy" Stevens, Chad L. Stevens, Jeffrey G. Smith, Kristan N. Smith, Mindi Miller (Steve), Dean Weaver, Amanda Bakehorn (Matt), Jenna Smith and Aubrey Smith; her great grandchildren, Travis Stevens, Melynda O'Conner (Hunter), Faith Ann Smith, Elizabeth, Levi and Benjamin Bakehorn; and her great great grandchild William James O'Conner.
