He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bevington and Sylvia Bevington (Stout); and his siblings, Galen, Dale, Ronald, Maxine, Arlene and Phyllis.
He is survived by: his wife Velma Jean Searles; his children, Greg (Kathy) and Donna; his grandchildren, Amanda Leazenby-Bruce (Jeremy) and Derrick Duell; his great grandchildren, Ziva, Makaylee and Rylee; and his sister Carolyn Norris (Bob). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Donations may be given to the Lighthouse of Bunker Hill.
