He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Damon Rogers and Pauline Rogers; his wife Joan Rogers; his children, James Rogers (Melly), Kimberly Rogers and Tabitha Brooks (DeWayne); his grandson Michael Rogers (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Jaina and Allie; his granddaughter Kayla DeKat (Asher); his great grandchild Melody; his grandchildren, Sonney Ornelas (Carissa) and Franki Lynn Steele (Zakary); his great grandchildren, Maysen, Manson and Marley; his grandchild Dallas Leal (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Aylan and Hudson; his grandchild Brandt Wyatt (Shianne); his great grandchildren, Aspen and Maiya; his grandson Dylan Miller (Brittany); his great grandchild Esmae; his grandson Anthony Miller; and his great grandchild Cheesecake. He was also cherished by his family and especially watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
